YG Entertainment posted ‘BABYMONSTER – ‘BATTER UP’ CREDIT’ on their official blog on the 22nd. In a white space with a simple yet sophisticated logo, the list of producers engraved on it has heightened expectations.

 

First to catch the eye is member ASA, credited for lyrics and composition. ASA, who already received praise for her sensible rap making and excellent composition skills in her debut reality show, is expected to showcase her grown musical capabilities and unique sensibility.

 

Additionally, powerful internal producers like DEE.P, BIGTONE, and a group of renowned international writers collaborated. The song, perfected after numerous song camps and with the strong support of AKMU’s LEE CHANHYUK and TREASURE’s CHOI HYUN SUK, has garnered interest for the results under their synergy.

 

YG commented, “As it’s the debut song, we spent a long time sourcing and working on the track to showcase BABYMONSTER’s distinct color. Expect a fittingly bold song with the title ‘BATTER UP’.”

 

BABYMONSTER (RUKA, PHARITA, ASA, HARAM, RORA, CHIQUITA) will step into the global music scene with the release of their debut digital single at 0:00 (Korean time) on the 27th. A hip-hop genre with a strong mood is anticipated, and YG conveyed that the song contains BABYMONSTER’s confidence and ambition.
