[뉴스엔=황혜진 기자] Boy group TREASURE has once again conquered the top of Japan’s largest music site, the Oricon chart, thanks to their strong local popularity.

According to their agency, YG Entertainment, on December 14, TREASURE’s ‘TREASURE JAPAN TOUR 2022-23 HELLO SPECIAL in KYOCERA DOME OSAKA’ has topped both the Oricon weekly DVD ranking and the weekly Music DVD·Blu-ray ranking.

Previously, TREASURE achieved a three-crown sweep with their second full album ‘REBOOT,’ topping the Oricon weekly album chart, weekly comprehensive album chart, and weekly pop album chart. With the release of their concert DVD on December 6, they have now proven their unrivaled popularity by also topping two categories in the weekly charts.

This DVD captures the final performance of their first arena tour in K-pop history, which drew the largest audience ever (300,000). It vividly presents TREASURE’s dynamic live performances, the heat of the event, and the moments of joy, along with a documentary covering the tour journey and highlights from the performances, receiving positive responses.

TREASURE has been actively expanding their presence in the Japanese market this year. Following their arena tour, they conducted a fan meeting tour across 5 cities for 20 sessions, becoming ‘the first Korean artist to make it to Tokyo Dome with their first fan meeting tour.’ Over the past year, they have attracted more than 500,000 audience members.

Next year, they will continue their momentum with the second Japan tour ‘2024 TREASURE TOUR REBOOT IN JAPAN.’ The tour kicks off on January 6 at Fukuoka PayPay Dome, followed by dates in Saitama (January 12-14), Aichi (January 20-21), Osaka (February 3-4), Fukui (February 10-11), Nagoya (February 14-15), and Hiroshima (February 22-23).

Prior to this, they will meet fans at the ‘2023 TREASURE CONCERT REBOOT IN SEOUL,’ to be held at the Olympic Park KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Arena) in Songpa-gu, Seoul, from December 15 to 17. This concert, their first domestic performance in about a year, is set to be a grand festival with spectacular scale performances and high-quality production, marking the finale of 2023 with TREASURE MAKERS.
