With this, BABYMONSTER has set a new personal best record for the team with the release of their official debut album. Their pre-debut track “BATTER UP” had previously entered the charts at numbers 101 and 49 respectively, quickly marking them as the next global superstars to watch.

Moreover, since last week, BABYMONSTER’s full-scale activities have begun, showing signs of a global popularity storm. After their first music broadcast performance, “SHEESH” skyrocketed to number 82 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global Chart and climbed to 73 the following day, fueling anticipation for future developments.

True to being the next “YouTube Queens,” the popularity of the “SHEESH” music video is immense. It immediately became the ‘most viewed video within 24 hours’ of release and swiftly took the top spot on YouTube’s Global Weekly Chart. The view count has risen steeply, surpassing 90 million views and nearing the 100 million mark.

BABYMONSTER has sold 401,287 copies of their first mini album [BABYMONS7ER] within a week of its release, setting a new record for the highest first-week sales by a K-pop girl group debut album. The album, showcasing the members’ dark charms through the hip-hop genre title track “SHEESH” among its 7 tracks that melt into a complete seven-member music world, has received a positive response from global music fans.
